Oncology Data Specialist – Certified / CTR (Case Finding)

What You’ll Do
Case Ascertainment: Identify all reportable cases through review of source documents and case listings.
Abstract & Analyze: Identify, code, and abstract newly diagnosed cancer cases in accordance with facility procedures and accreditation standards.
Ensure Accuracy: Maintain precision in data reporting, review diagnostic and treatment information, and contribute to high-quality registry data.
Collaborate & Contribute: Partner with team members to uphold registry excellence and support meaningful cancer research and program development.
Requirements
What You Bring
Certification: Current ODS-C / CTR (NCRA certified and in good standing) required
Experience: 3+ years of Cancer Registry/ODS experience and proficiency with California abstracting (preferred) and case finding.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with CNExT (preferred).
Bonus Points For: Experience with CoC, NAPBC accreditation, State/FCDS Abstractor Code, and/or VA facilities.
Location: Must be U.S.-based.
